Amazwi & the Amazwi Villager

Amazwi, a volunteer-driven arts organization, utilizes vehicles of storytelling to build upon and strengthen its founding pillars of empowerment, preservation, and education. Amazwi is a South African nonprofit organization supported by an American 501(c)(3), The Amazwi Foundation. Amazwi, meaning "voices" in Zulu, is currently based in Limpopo, South Africa, where it's working on media development and journalist education projects.

The Amazwi Villager is the first print publication in South Africa's Lowveld region, focused on the villages of Acornhoek, Bushbuckridge, and Thulamahashe (formerly part of the apartheid-era Lebowa and Gazankulu homelands).  This monthly publication is produced by a team of international volunteers and local journalists (all graduates of the Amazwi School of Media Arts-- Hoedspruit, South Africa).

The Amazwi Villager is one of two publications produced by Amazwi Writers Publishing, a project within Amazwi.

An Indian youth is maintaining a blog by name Amazwi. He never visited Africa but developed love and affection for the continent, its culture and the people. Since you are expressing your views in the same name, I suggest you to visit his blog in order to recognize his love for Africans
